A wild rose, how rare!
I'm told they grow not everywhere.
a flower both wild and fair,
who's very form defies the surrounding air.
Most will stop and stare,
saying "Why should I care,
that this wild rose is rare?"
burning down their nose in a glare.
Because roses are many,
they can be grown by the plenty.
Most common eyes can't agree,
with what they may see.
The roses most know,
grow only for show.
They have no wild glow,
thus sprout beauty that's hollow.
They've been picked and plucked,
trimmed and tucked,
into a rigid construct,
of a picture perfect conduct.
So that all that pass by,
will glean with their eye,
these roses in disguise.
